Hi, Welcome to the world of Fedora Ambassadors. If you have not already done so, please subscribe to the fedora-india mailing list . Additionally, also include #fedora-india in the list of IRC channels you'd like to be on. Primarily, we use these two ways to keep in touch, discuss and coordinate about all things related to Fedora in India. As a Fedora Ambassador, you would be the 'face of Fedora' to the outside world. So, your period of 'probation' (or, observation) should be judiciously utilized to get up to speed with the various parts of The Fedora Project, learning about the various tools, lists, issues and, of course understanding what the message is all about. This takes time and, given the large size of The Fedora Project, it would be useful for you to have a buddy/mentor. At any stage, if you do have a question, feel free to ask on the IRC channel or, the mailing list to receive an answer to your query. As you are studying The Fedora Project and, learning about how best to deliver presentations, demos or, organize events, it is also important to plan for what your contribution would be. Or, in other words, which part of The Fedora Project do you feel comfortable working on. The benefit to this is that as you become deeply involved in contributions, your social network within Fedora increases. If you have a blog, it would be good to have your blog added to http://planet.fedoraproject.org Additionally, also go through the following URLs: Happy hacking, susmit at fedoraproject dot org sundaram at fedoraproject dot org sankarshan at fedoraproject dot org
